App versus browser: which should you use
Our native Android app offers several advantages over the browser version. The app caches game assets locally, so live tables load faster on your second and third visit. Push notifications alert you when a withdrawal clears or when a Liga 1 match you follow is about to start. The app also uses less battery because it does not need to refresh the entire page when you switch between games. On iOS, we recommend adding kong to your home screen via Safari, which gives you a similar experience to a native app without requiring installation from an external source.
The browser version works on any device with an internet connection and does not require you to enable unknown sources or manage app permissions. If you prefer not to install anything, or if you want to play on a tablet or desktop computer, the web version of kong gives you full access to our live-dealer tables, sportsbook, and slots. Common installation issues and solutions
If your phone blocks the APK installation, check that you have enabled "Unknown Sources" in your security settings. Some Android versions hide this option under "Install from unknown apps" within individual app permissions; if so, find the Files app or your browser in Settings and grant it permission to install apps. If you see a certificate warning, this is normal for APK files downloaded outside the Play Store; our app is signed with our own certificate and is safe to install. If the app crashes after installation, try restarting your phone and clearing the app cache through Settings → Apps → kong → Storage → Clear Cache. If problems persist, uninstall and reinstall the latest version.
Data, permissions, and account security on kong
When you install our app, it requests permission to access your device's storage (to cache game data), your internet connection, and optionally your camera and microphone if you use our live-chat feature with dealers. We do not access your contacts, photos, or location without your explicit consent. Your account credentials are encrypted and never stored in plain text on your device. We use industry-standard TLS encryption for all data sent between your phone and our servers, so your deposits, withdrawals, and betting activity remain private. If you log out of kong, your session token is deleted from your device immediately. We recommend using a strong, unique password and enabling two-factor authentication on your account if available.
